Ayenda's traumatic break up after a long relationship with Elikeh Domerkens, who is Alfa's son. Deeply in love, they had sworn they would reject their mates if they showed up, to stay together for the rest of their lives. Full of grief, Ayenda flees into the woods, where she meets Marvin Coovens, who's on a camping trip. He offers her his home for her to stay and heal her broken heart.
Marvin falls in love with Ayenda. After a disagreement, Ayenda moves out to stay with a friend. This friend falls in love with the charming Marvin, drugs him, and has a one-night stand with him. Later she claims to be pregnant for him. "How can you say that you are madly in love with me and impregnate my friend? Tell me!!", she yells to him heartbroken once again.
Then Alpha Alexander Bouvan of the Paxon pack claims Ayenda as his mate. Elikeh appears back on the scene and they get involved in a love triangle as well.
