A stranded aviator. A golden-haired traveler from another world. A timeless lesson in love, loss, and what it truly means to be human.
When aviator Jack crash-lands his plane in the desolate beauty of the Mojave Desert, he expects a fight for survival against time and the elements. Instead, he is awakened at dawn by a mysterious, enchanting little boy who makes an impossible request:
“Please… draw me a sheep.”
So begins an extraordinary encounter between two souls from vastly different worlds. As Jack repairs his plane under the desert stars, young Leo—the Star Boy—shares the story of his journey across the cosmos. He speaks of his tiny home planet Asteroid B612, his battle against giant baobab trees, his love for a proud and dramatic rose, and his encounters with strange grown-ups across distant asteroids—a lonely monarch, a vain performer, a weary businessman, and a devoted lamplighter.
Guided by the wisdom of a wise wild fox, Leo learns that true connection requires taming, and that the things worth holding onto cannot be seen with the eyes, but felt only with the heart.
Rethought for a modern global audience with rich narrative depth, "The Star Boy" is an evocative, elegant reimagining of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s beloved masterpiece The Little Prince.
A heartwarming, bittersweet tale for dreamers of all ages—reminding adults everywhere of the magic they left behind in childhood.
